Power Play Productions supports groups who have been under-represented or negatively portrayed in the mainstream media.
Since 2007 we have specialised in participatory, creative film-making projects and workshops that stimulate creative thinking styles, collective production and personal development. Our focus is the experience of people making the film and the skills they learn.
Through a participatory approach, we:
- engage marginalised young people from urban, multi-ethnic communities;
- promote their participation in decision-making, planning and leadership roles;
- stimulate their creative learning, media skills and personal development.
